Following a celebrated performance at the Nova Rock Festival, a successful tour across Austria, Germany, and Switzerland, sold-out shows, and the performance of the Austrian national anthem at the MotoGP at the Red Bull Ring in front of a million-strong audience, the band will release their debut album Everleaf on March 20, 2026. Since their formation in 2020, Velvet Wasted have become a staple of the Austrian music scene. Their songs blend the vibe of the early 2000s with a modern indie-rock aesthetic - honest, emotional, and unapologetically real. They have shared the stage with acts such as Ida Mae (UK/US), Cardinal Black (UK), and Leap (UK), and most recently toured with Steaming Satellites (AT). With songs like Blame It On The Nights, Velvet Wasted found their place on Austrian radio, receiving airplay on FM4, Radio 88.6, Radio Soundportal, and even BBC Radio (UK). Ö-Ticket has already drawn comparisons to indie-rock legends Kings of Leon. After two EPs (Saturday Night, Chasing Hearts) and numerous singles, the band now opens a new chapter with their debut album Everleaf. A chapter in which they reveal all their facets for the first time, taking their mantra of contrasts to a new level - flying and falling, dreaming and failing, velvet and wasted.
